Summer Solstice 2025
Everything in our lives is cyclical based on whether you are born before or after sunset. This is the foundation of our lives and horoscopes.
I was speaking with a friend about the beginning of 2020 and the much feared and anticipated encounter of the Saturn – Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, the two karmic planets, in a sign associated with the goat/devil. A whole new era took off at the beginning of a new decade with the pandemic totally changing our lives both globally and personally.
But we were promised hope and solutions by another meeting/cycle on the winter solstice that same year as Jupiter and Saturn started their new 20-year cycle on the 1st degree of Aquarius, the sign associated with mankind and its longing for freedom, revolution, equality and brotherhood. Astrologically it is Uranus that rules this sign.
Pluto with its transformative energy has also entered Aquarius and will spend the next 20 years in this sign.
Uranus, the awakener and a force of rebellion will enter Gemini on July 7th. This means that between 2025 – 2027 the communication between Pluto and Uranus will be fast, flowing, and linking the higher mind with the discerning qualities of Pluto saying what is corrupt and what is really true.
2025 is the year when a lot of change will happen faster since so many new cycles are taking place or shifting gears. The mere fact that all the five outer planets, from Jupiter out to Pluto, shift signs within a 7 ½ month span from Nov 20, 2024 – July 7, 2025, is quite remarkable and extremely rare. Jupiter is the only planet that will slow down as he moves from air (Gemini) into water (Cancer). All the other planets speed up, either from earth to air, or water to fire.
Now that Saturn is in Aries, he wants to slow down the impulse of Aries, but he can’t. Saturn, the planet of patience, wants to temper, balance, master a skill, while Aries is very driven, courageous but also impatient. With the help of Saturn’s discipline and thoroughness, long-lasting beneficial goals for humanity can be achieved.
Interestingly, Neptune is very close to Saturn, two completely different archetypes. Neptune dissolves, is nebulous, evasive and illusionary but also transcends the veil between worlds. Saturn on the other hand is the gate keeper of what is real, confines, limits and restricts whereas Neptune is limitless. The last time they met in Capricorn, we had the fall of the Berlin Wall and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. It makes me wonder what will happen this time.
Neptune doesn’t push like Saturn. He loosens things up and the veil comes off bringing back the remembrance of the I am that I am, the direct connection to the divine within us. Remember, Cancer is the sign of the Moon, the divine mother. And Jupiter’s exaltation there enables us all to slow down and nourish ourselves and our loved ones, the importance of family bonds, honouring the feminine, the heritage and the blood lines.
The message of Pluto and Uranus is that all men are brothers. Humanity is one with the earth. Encourages us to trust our intuition, that knowledge through intuition is the real knowledge rather than knowledge from intellect. Feeling the truth rather than thinking it. By learning to listen and trust your inner voice, you will be able to discern what is for your highest good.
In true spirit
